2017 Hainan International Coffee Congress and Beverage Expo

1st-3rd, Dec., 2017

Hainan International Convention & Exhibition Center, Haikou, Hainan

Hainan, located in the golden latitude of the “coffee growing belt”, and of many places covered with well-drained and rich volcanic soils, is richly endowed with nature for coffee plantation. Hainan province is one of the main coffee producing areas in China, and produces South America-quality coffees.

Hainan, the only tropical island province in China, has been actively developing MICE economy by utilizing government policies concerning “Ecological Environment, Special Economic Zone, International Tourism Island” in recent years. Since Hainan is also an important station along The Maritime Silk Road, it will definitely benefit from many new policies concerning the Belt & Road Initiative, such as the Offshore Duty-Free Area policy.

Hainan boasts very deep coffee consumerism culture. As early as in 1933, Indonesian Chinese Chen Xianzhang introduced coffee beans to the Fushan area of Hainan, where they grew extremely well in the volcanic soils. Now, Chengmai Fushan Coffee Culture Scenery Town has become a famous tourist hotspot. Hainan is one of the important coffee producing areas in China, but it can’t satisfy the thirst of the local consumers for coffee, 70% of which needs to be imported. Together with the market demands and friendly government regulations, Hainan can easily develop into a huge potential blue sea market for coffer consumptions.

Consisting of various exhibition zones for coffee beans, coffee equipment, related beverages and coffee cultures, 2017 Hainan International Coffee Congress and Beverage Expo aims to broadly and comprehensively exhibit all sorts of coffees and related beverages and their developing trends.

We are looking forward to meeting with friends from both domestic and foreign in coffee-related industries, at 2017 Hainan International Coffee Congress and Beverage Expo.
